“Now it’s time to complete the wheels…”
This stage will be very similar to Stage 01 and Stage 33 where we built the first set of rear wheels.

NOTE: Save any spare screws left over at the end of each stage of this build. They may be needed in later stages!
Materials: The Rear Tires are rubber and the Wheels are plastic.
Build
The Rear Wheels
Step 1
Push an Inner Wheel into one of the Rear Tires so the rim of the tire fits snugly around the groove on the wheel, as shown.
If you find the Rear Tires to be stiff, try soaking them in hot water for a few minutes first. Be careful not to burn yourself!
This is the ‘inside’ of the Inner Wheel which will face the center of the fire truck:
Step 2
In the same way, push an Outer Wheel into the another Rear Tire, as shown:
As with the previous wheels, I used my Liquid Chrome pen to touch up the lug nuts and the outer edge of the Outer Wheel rim:
Step 3
Apply a few drops of super glue to this smooth, flat surface of the Inner Wheel:
Then, fit the four pins of the Outer Wheel into the matching holes of that same flat surface of the Inner Wheel:
Firmly press the two wheel parts together and allow the glue to set:
Step 4
Repeat these steps to assemble the second set of Rear Wheels:
Thoughts
We have built Rear Wheels like this before, so nothing new to mention. We will install wheels these in the next stage, so keep them nearby.
