“In the next few stages, you will assemble more of the storage compartments with tool boards and adjustable shelves that allow the Aerialscope to house the vital equipment required for every unique set of rescue conditions.“

Storage Compartment Inner and Battery Compartment
Attach the Compartment Inner
Retrieve your Storage Compartment Frame/Box Frame assembly from the previous stage. Press the posts on the rear of the Compartment Inner into the matching holes at this location of the Box Frame:
Secure the Compartment Inner to the Box Frame with two (2) Type D screws. As these are short screws, you will likely need to apply a drop of super glue to the ends of the screws before driving them in:
Attach the Steps
Retrieve your Steps assembly from the previous stage and press the lugs on the back of the Step Backplate into the matching holes of the Box Frame at this location between the Storage Compartments, as shown. You may need to trim any extra material/paint off the lugs for a firm fit:
Attach the Battery Compartment
Turn the Box Frame assembly upside down and fit the three lugs of the Battery Compartment Bottom over these matching rear posts:
Secure the compartment into place with three (3) Type J screws.
This is your friendly reminder to try using 3-in-One Oil on all screws going into metal:
Fit the Battery Compartment Top onto the Battery Compartment Bottom as shown, and secure it into place with one (1) Type I screw.
There are two tabs at the rear of the Battery Compartment Top that fit into matching slots in the rear of the Battery Compartment Bottom:
Another Storage Compartment opening is ready to go and our Battery Compartment is in place. The three unused Cable Ties will be installed in a later stage, so keep them safely stored for now.
